Title:
ROBOT SYSTEM FOR INSERTION OF ELECTRONIC PARTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6089203
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform full-automatically a series of inserting jobs of electronic parts by reading automatically the names of parts on a printed circuit board and transferring automatically both the supply and insertion position data to a robot control part for electronic parts corresponding to products. CONSTITUTION:When a printed circuit board is sent to a robot machine part 4 via an automatic reading part 3 for parts names, these parts names are read automatically. These read data are compared each time with the previous old data. When the coincidence is obtained from this comparison, a robot main body part 6 starts insertion of parts. If no coincidence is obtained from said comparison, the data are transferred between a data control block 7 and a robot control part 5. Then both insertion information and the control information are transferred to the part 5, and the part 6 starts insertion of parts. The inserting state is checked for each parts during the inserting work, and the following parts are inserted successively as long as the checking results are satisfactory. This check is continued until all parts are inserted completely.
