Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve productivity by making the installation pitch of a take-out hand and a supply hand fitted to an arm equal to the installation pitch of the product discharge part of a product discharge device and the workpiece supply part of a workpiece supply device.

CONSTITUTION: With a take-out hand base and is supply hand base 18 kept horizontal, a Z-axis is lowered and a workpiece 28 aligned with the cavity arrangement of a mold 26 in a magazine 24b on a workpiece supply part is concurrently retained with a supply hand. Thereafter, both of the aforesaid bases are kept in parallel to the open plane of the mold 26. Then, a Y-axis is made to advance and an X-axis is made to advance toward the mold 26, thereby enabling a hand 22 to hold and take out a formed product 29. Thereafter, the Y-axis and then the X-axis are made to advance to insert a workpiece 28 into the mold 26. Then, both of the aforesaid bases are kept horizontal and a Z-axis is lowered for placing the product 29 on the discharge part 23a of a product transportation device 23. Concurrently therewith, the next workpiece 28 on the magazine 24b on the workpiece supply part 24a of the workpiece supply device 24 is held with the supply hand.
