PURPOSE: To enjoy a kind of toy play different from conventional ones by generating at least two kinds of voices at the same time that a motion working portion is put into work by control of a select switch.

CONSTITUTION: A robot toy is provided with a voice generating portion and a voice control portion which controls the voice generating portion so that at least two kinds of voices are generated from the voice generating portion, and an associated work portion which is actuated in association with the voice generating portion is provided in a part of the robot toy. For example, the voice generating portion 3, the voice control portion 4 which controls the voice generating portion 3 so that three kinds of voices are generated from the voice generating portion 3, and a main switch 5 are all stored inside the body portion 2 of the robot toy 1. A light emitting portion 7 actuated in association with the voice generating portion 3 and made of a light emitting diode is provided in the head portion 6 of the robot toy 1 and is electrically connected to the voice control portion 4. The voice generating portion 3 and the light-emitting portion 7 can thus be actuated simultaneously.
