Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let a user know the progress of internal processing.SOLUTION: When a user inputs a command via an input device and a robot responds to the user-input command via an output device based on predetermined processing which takes a predetermined amount of time or more, the robot, during the prescribed processing, rotates a weight drive mechanism and makes a predetermined direction in which the weight drive mechanism reciprocates a weight orthogonal to an advancing direction caused by a pair of drive wheels, to thereby cause the weight to reciprocate in the predetermined direction orthogonal to the advancing direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
