Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot which achieves double-safety, and a drive device, a control method for the drive device and a printer.SOLUTION: A robot includes a first arm, a second arm rotatably arranged with respect to the first arm, a third arm, a fourth arm rotatably arranged with respect to the third arm, a first drive device 2b which transmits drive force rotating with respect to the first arm to the second arm, a second drive device 2d which transmits drive force rotating with respect to the third arm to the fourth arm, and a control part 1 which controls the first drive device 2b and the second drive device 2d. The first drive deice 2b and the second drive device 2d are connected to the control part 1 by both of a bus type and a daisy chain type.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
