Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive rock landscape unit, acclimatized with the natural landscape, excellent in strength, readily worked and installed and enabling the elimination of the need for transplanting operation and a method for planting a tree using the unit.
CONSTITUTION: This rock landscape unit 1 is provided by cutting out a natural rock or using a rock having an intact appearance of the natural rock, forming a planting hole 2 for planting the root part of a nursery stock, a young tree, an adult tree or other plants 3 and housing soil 5 therein at an optional depth or passing and forming the planting hole therethrough. Furthermore, the rock landscape unit can be divided with expanding force of the root part by applying a dividing guide such as a crack, a rent or a thin-wall part thereto. Furthermore, this method for growing a tree is to bring the rock landscape unit into contact with the ground surface to spread the root part in the planting hole 2 therefrom into the ground.
