Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocker arm capable of securing durability while reducing inertia mass.SOLUTION: A rocker arm 10 is disposed between a cam 70 and a valve 80, and is rocked in accordance with rotation of the cam 70 so as to press the valve 80. The rocker arm 10 includes a valve abutment part 15 constituted by a receiving wall 14 which is abutted to an end surface of a stem end 81A of the valve 80 in a pressed state, and a pair of side walls 13 each of which projects so as to counter each other from both side ends 14A of the receiving wall 14, is arranged along and near a side peripheral surface of the stem end 81A of the valve 80, and has a thickness thinner than that of the adjacent portion at least in a projection end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
