Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease unstable aerodynamic moment being due to a space shuttle of a rocket being loaded with the space shuttle, and control the occurrence of wave making resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A space shuttle 1 is loaded on the head section of a rocket body 2 so as to be incliningly movable to the axis of the rocket body 2 to decrease unstable aerodynamic moment caused by cross wind, and plural number of auxiliary boosters 3, 4 are attached at different positions in the axial direction of the rocket body 2 to make the variation of the sectional area of the rocket body 2 moderate for controlling the occurrence of wave making resistance.
