PURPOSE: To simplify operations for locking the connecting end sections of mutually opposite rails, and also prevent defective matching lock by letting a horizontal closing type gate means provided with a drive means be fitted in while being laid across each space between respective gate receiving means, and concurrently letting the dislocation of respective rails in the axial and vertical directions be simultaneously matched and locked.
CONSTITUTION: One moving rail out of moving rails 7.through 9 is moved to a position where the aforesaid rail coincides with the other moving rail, and then suspended, and a horizontal closing type gate means 24 is closed by a drive means 23 thereafter. A gate member 27 is fitted in while being laid across a space between the respective rollers 33 of a gate receiving means 21 for a floating rail 23, and a space between the respective rollers 33 of a gate receiving means 23 for the other moving rail, and each positional dislocation in the axial and vertical directions between the ends of the rails is simultaneously adjusted by means of a vertical floating action based on the horizontal surface of the floating rail 20. Since each gate receiving means 21 and 24 is provided with paired upper and lower rollers 33, the gate member 27 is smoothly fitted therein.
