To provide a rocking roller composed by allowing the roller to be rocked with a simple structure, and allowing an inner ring and/or an outer ring of a rolling bearing or a rolling element of a cylindrical roller to be axially moved.
In this rocking roller, a rolling bearing 11 making an inner ring and/or an outer ring thereof to be axially movable by making the length in the width direction of each surface, facing raceway surfaces of cylindrical rollers 14, of either or both of the inner ring 13 and the outer ring 12 of the rolling bearing 11 composed by arranging, as rolling elements, the plurality of cylindrical rollers 14 between the collared inner ring 13 and outer ring 12 3-5 mm larger than the axial length of the raceway surfaces of the cylindrical rollers 14 is mounted on one side of a shaft bearing part of the roller; and, at the other end of the shaft bearing part of the roller, a rolling bearing where any of an inner ring, an outer ring or a rolling element of a cylindrical roller moves in an axial direction when the inner ring 13 or the outer ring 12 of the rolling bearing 11 moves in its axial direction, and the roller moves in its axial direction is mounted.
