This rocking switch includes a case 10, an operating knob 60, a slide member 100 connected to the operating knob 60 through a moving direction converting connection part to convert the rocking movement of the operating knob 60 to a linear movement, two sets by two pairs of stationary contacts 130 and movable contact supports 150 installed in series on the bottom face of the case 10, a pair of movable contacts 170 swingably journaled onto movable contact supports 150 by abutting on them respectively, while having movable contacts 181 brought into contact with or separated from stationary contacts 141, and a pair of operating bodies 210 installed in the case 10 to rock and operate the movable contacts 170 by rocking with a rocking shaft 223 as a center, and moving while abutting parts (a) at the tip are abutting on the surface of movable contacts 170 respectively. Both operating bodies 210 are simultaneously driven toward the same direction by the slide member 100.
