Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a simple structured rod clamping device which can grasp any of boring rods having different outside diameters by its center without replacing the clamp pieces.
CONSTITUTION: A head side clamp piece 110 is furnished at a head side case, and on the side opposite this clamp piece 110, a piston side clamp piece 220 is arranged slidably at the tip of a piston rod 210. The head side clamp piece 110 is mounted on a supporting table 410 slidably together with a drive cylinder 200 through coupling tools 310, 320 installed on both side thereof, and the supporting table 410 is fixed to a boring machine with the aid of brackets 420, 430.
