Title:
ROD FOR GATHERING EARTH FROM WALL OF PIPE BORE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3968735
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a highly precise pile foundation by a method wherein gathering of earth from walls at a pile bore is executed correctly during excavation or after excavation without interfering with excavation works.
SOLUTION: Cylindrical bodies 8, each having an opening 11 at its front end, for housing earth therein are turnably attached respectively with a pivot 7 to the underside of a spiral blade 3 of a rod main body that is equipped with the spiral blade 3 at its outer circumferential part, and thereby a rod for gathering earth is constructed. Each of the cylindrical bodies 8 has a claw part 12 at its front end part and an operating through hole at its bottom part 9, and an inner bottom plate for closing the above-mentioned through hole is incorporated therein. With the above-mentioned rod inserted into a pile bore 19, the wall at the pile bore is scraped with the cylindrical bodies 8 placed in open positions, and thereby earth is gathered (b). The cylindrical bodies 8 are housed in the spiral blade 3 while being placed in closed positions, and with the openings 11 blocked up with lid bodies 15, leakage of gathered earth or mixing-in of different earth can be prevented (a). The gathered earth is taken out of each of the cylindrical bodies 8 with each of the inner bottom plates pushed up through each of the through holes.
