To solve the problems of the conventional rod holder for sea fishing: since a conventional rod holder must be fixed by using a stone gap or like on the rocky seashore, it cannot be fixed at a place having no stone gap or only small gaps, further when the gap is too wide, the fixing becomes difficult; in addition, the user has to bend to set the rod in the fixed state because the height cannot be adjusted and the fatigue of the user is increased; and the fishing rod cannot be held in the stable position in the fixed state by using the self weight of the handle section of the rod and the rod may slide down into water or the rod holder may fall down by losing the center of gravity.
The fishing rod holder has a specified inner space, and is equipped with a fixing body 2 having a fixing groove 4 fitted to the uppermost periphery of the rectangular bait basket 20 and a slide bar 8. A fitting part 10 having the sliding groove 6 is integrally formed on the upper part of the body 2 to vertically cross at an angle of 90, and the slide bar 8 provided with the rod holding-fixing means for fixing the rod holder 30 is fitted in the groove longitudinally movably.
