PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod integrator or the like having the high utilization efficiency of light and suitable for a color recapturing system.
SOLUTION: In the rod integrator 103 equipped with a reflective inner peripheral surface (reflection surface) 111 for emitting light made incident from a light source part 101 on an aperture part 110 on an incident side from an aperture part 112 on an emitting side, the end face 113 of the outer periphery part of the aperture part 112 on the emitting side is a scattering surface 113 reflecting the incident light on the end face 113 to the direction of an optical axis AX1 aligned with the center axis of the rod integrator 103.
