Abstract:
To provide a rod-like test piece surface polishing device and a surface polishing method by which it can be suppressed that a polished state of a rod-like test piece becomes ununiform.SOLUTION: A surface polishing device 100 comprises: holding members 22a, 22b which rotatably hold a rod-like test piece 10; a roller 24 which holds a polishing paper 40; a feeding mechanism 26 which feeds the polishing paper 40 in an X direction; a pressing member 28 which presses the polishing paper 40 onto the rod-like test piece 10; a rotary drive mechanism 30 which rotates the rod-like test piece 10; and a moving mechanism 32 which relatively reciprocates the rod-like test piece 10 and the polishing paper 40 in a Y direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
