Abstract:
To provide a rod seal structure which prevents oozing out and leakage of a sealing fluid which has been adhered to a rod due to repetitive reciprocal movement of the rod.
An elastic seal body 10 which comes in sliding contact with the reciprocating rod 3 has an asymmetrical cross-section, is put between a first backup ring 11 and a second backup ring 12 and has an inner circumferential surface 22 formed into a gradient surface 25.
