Abstract:
To prevent cut pieces from jumping out by holding the cut pieces when cutting a rod-shaped member such as a reinforcing bar.
In a pair of rod-shaped member cutting blades 1, cutting parts 6 move up to a position where the cutting parts 6 abut on each other. At distal ends of inclined surfaces 5 of the blades 1, the cutting parts 6 are formed. On the inclined surfaces 5 of the cutting blades 1, projecting parts 7 to bite into a part of the rod-shaped member to be cut when the cutting parts 6 abut on each other are provided at a position away from the cutting parts 6 in the axis direction of the rod-shaped member.
