Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the sealing properties and soundness of a joining section while facilitating the detachable operation of the joining section.
CONSTITUTION: Seals 14 are interposed in a bonding section screw-bonding a bit 6 with the second coupling 4 of one rod unit 5 and a bonding section screw-bonding the second coupling 4 of the other rod unit 5 with a first coupling 3 respectively, and these high-pressure water communicating paths intercommunicate in a water-tight manner by the seals 14. The seal 14 has proper mechanical strength and hardness, and a guide cylinder 14b is formed integrally on an abacus bead-shaped head section 14a by polyacetal excellent as the sealing medium of superhigh pressure water.
