Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with an exclusive hydraulic motor for rotation and driving, and to simplify the structure.
SOLUTION: This rod turning device 1 has a plurality of rear rollers 19C, 19L, 19R holding a shank rod 2, a plurality of front rollers holding a rod connected to the shank rod through sleeves 4, and a plurality of rotation transmission shafts 17C, 17L, 17R, in which the front rollers are fixed to front sections and the rear rollers 19C, 19L, 19R to rear sections respectively and which are arranged in parallel with a drilling axis. When the shank rod 2 is turned, the revolution of the shank rod 2 is transmitted to the front rollers, and the front rollers give rotation to the rod.
