Abstract:
To provide a rod type reclining device capable of tilting a backrest part at a sufficient angle without being restricted by the length of a rod.
The rod 10 tilted following the backrest part 2 and locked by a lever 60 is constituted to be extensible. In the backward tilted side range of the backrest part 2 from the upright position, the rod 10 is held in the contracted state by a tension spring 40 and locked by the lever 60. When the backrest part 2 is tilted forward from the upright position, a lock released state is maintained by a release holder 80, and the rod 10 is extended following the forward tilting action of the backrest part 2.
