PURPOSE: To very simply hold and release rolls by levers and to improve operation efficiency, by providing one set of revolving shafts of double construction extending from the driving side to the operating side and rotating each revolving shaft by handle operation from the operating side.
CONSTITUTION: In replacing rolls and in releasing the holding of rolls held by levers, a locking pin is removed and revolving shafts 20 and 21 are rotated by rotating handles 23 and 24, and then at the driving side, levers 13 and 14 are pushed up against coiled springs 16 and 17 to release the spring forces acting on the 1st intermediate roll 11 and the 2nd intermediate roll 12, thereby the holding of the rolls 11 and 12 held by the levers 13 and 14 is released. Further the handles 23 and 24 are rotated reversely in performing the holding of the rolls.
