To provide a roll bearing structure capable of preventing grease from invading into a continuous annealing furnace.
The shaft part of a roll is passed through a furnace roll near its drive side end part, and a cover is fitted to a bearing housing. A cup covering the end part while leaving a clearance is installed in the bearing housing at the non-driving side end part of the furnace roll. A cylindrical spacer forming a heat dissipating plate is detachably installed between a furnace wall and the bearing housing, and a grease supplementing means is connected to the upper surface of the bearing housing. On the drive side and non-drive side bearings, bearing seals are installed only on the furnace wall side. A seal pot to which a grease discharge tube is connected and allowing the lower parts of the cover and the cup to be inserted therein is installed on the lower parts of the cover and the cup.
