Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a roll brush wherein features of conventioal channel type and disc type, brushes are combined while disadvantages thereof are eliminated, and brush bundles are distributed uniformly over the whole surface of the outer peripheral surface of a roll, at sufficiently high frequency.
CONSTITUTION: Over the full length of a one side edge in the longitudinal direction of a long band plate 2, at a specified interval, brush bundles 3 folded in two are crossed together so that the tip side may be projected from the other side edge, and a band-shaped brush B having a mechanism with the crossed state fixed with a fixing means is wound up spirally and densely on the outer peripheral surface of a roll 1. The fixing means is composed of a brush bundle engaging notch set at a specified interval on one side edge of the long band plate 2, and clip-shaped fixtures 4 for retaining the cross seat sections of the brush bundles 3. Then, in order to winding up the band-shaped brush B easily on, folds are arranged for example, over the full length of the long band plate 2.
