To obtain a small-quantity, module type carrying frame consisting of exchangeable component members which can be manufactured at small manufacturing costs, by composing it of box element having inlet-side passage and outlet-side passage, guides for the material to be rolled, and holding element and guide element for chock pair of double roll provided on the box element.

The roll carrying frame consists of a box element KE having an inlet-side passage and an outlet-side passage DG, guides for the material to be rolled, and a holding element and a guide element KA for chock pair LES of a double roll W provided on the box element KE. On a carrying mechanism TW, the box element KE is installed, and this box element KE is provided with the passage DG having different guide elements for a continuous rolled material which enters from one side and comes out from the other side. Both passages DG are arranged at some distance from each other in the moving direction of the rolled material.
