In a roll connection structure 10 in which two rolls 11 and 12 are connected axially to each other with an inner pipe 14, a recessed part 13 is formed in the inner peripheral surface of at least one roll on the connection side end part, the inner pipe to connect the two rolls is formed with an inner pipe body 14a of roughly the same outside diameter as the inner diameter of these rolls and a protruded part 14c which is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe body and of the same axial length as that of the recessed part, the connection end parts of the two rolls are fitted into the inner pipe 14, the inner peripheral surfaces of the two rolls are brought in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the inner pipe body, and the recessed part axial surface is brought in contact with the protruded part axial end surface of the inner pipe 14.
