Abstract:
To provide a roll-formed medium support mechanism comprising a medium support shaft to be inserted in an inner peripheral side of a medium wound in a roll form and a rotation shaft to which both ends of the medium support shaft are detachably attached, which roll-formed medium support mechanism allows for securing a freedom of design despite it can suppress a wobble with respect to the rotation shaft of the medium support shaft when rotated together with the rotation shaft.SOLUTION: A roll-formed medium support mechanism comprises a medium support shaft 25, a rotation shaft 26 that holds square-poled engagement portions 25a formed at both ends of the medium support shaft 25, and a slide member 28 that can move axially of the rotation shaft 26. The rotation shaft 26 is formed with square-grooved engagement recesses 26a in which the engagement portions 25a are inserted and arranged. The slide member 28 is linearly movable with respect to the rotation shaft 26 between a lock position 28A covering an opening side of the engagement recess 26a and a release position 28B releasing the opening side of the engagement recess 26a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
