Abstract:
To make it possible to perform roll-forming processing with high accuracy with a compact and low cost constitution.
A roll-forming apparatus 10 includes a first mandrel 30 to be fitted to a first spindle 18 of a main shaft table 14, and a second mandrel 32 to be fitted to a second spindle 24 of a core-pushing table 16. A workpiece W is rotated while held between the first mandrel 30 and the second mandrel 32, and on the other side, the roll-forming is performed by pressing the rolls 52a and 52b against the workpiece W. In the inner part of the first mandrel 30 and the second mandrel 32, a clamping mechanism 34 for preventing the die-opening of the first mandrel 30 and the second mandrel 32 when the roll-forming is performed, is arranged.
