To stably grasp a chock of a roll for rolling of various sizes and shapes and a roll for rolling with a chock by freely changing an interval between a pair of first arms and an interval between a pair of second arms and changing an interval between the first and second arms corresponding to each other.
A roll handling device 1 for rolling is furnished with a main body frame 3, a pair of left and right beam members 5, 6 provided in parallel on the main body frame 3 free to move, a pair of arms 8, 9 suspended respectively on the beam members 5, 6 free to move and provided respectively with engagement pins 65 and arm driving mechanisms 10, 11 to respectively move and drive a pair of the arms 8 and a pair of the arms 9, and it is constituted free to apply both of a roll for rolling with no chock installed on it and a roll for rolling with a chock.
