Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heatable roll having excellent safety and reliability.
CONSTITUTION: The objective heatable roll for the processing of a web material such as paper is provided with a roll main body 12 having a peripheral channel or hole 16 extending parallel to the axis and two threaded-type flange journals 14a, 14b. The hole 16 is provided with a heating element 18 extending in axial direction parallel to the roll main body 12.
