Abstract:
To improve a roll capable of easily and inexpensively preventing the unbalance of the roll even in a heating state.
This roll is provided with a roll body 1 having a center hole 5, and flange journals 2, 3 holding the roll body 1 at both sides and supported by bearings are fixed to the roll body 1. At least one balance weight 7, 9 is mounted in the central hole 5 in an eccentric state. A mass and/or an angular position and/or a radial interval to a center axis of the roll of the balance weight 7, 9 can be adjusted, and the adjustment can be performed in a state that the flange journals 2, 3 are fixed as they are.
