Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing, enabling to compact the spinning reel in a simple structure without lowering the strength of a spool shaft.
SOLUTION: A cylindrical member 10 having a traverse cram groove 10a formed on the outer periphery is disposed on a spool shaft 5 supporting a spool 30 at its tip between the spool 30 and the bottom of a rotor 12. The cylindrical member 10 is integrally rotated together with a pinion 7 by the rotation of 21 handle 2. A sliding cylinder 15 having an engaging pin for engaging with the traverse cam groove 10a and attached to the spool shaft 5 is disposed on the cylindrical member 10. The cylindrical member 10 is rotated to recipocatively move the spool shaft 5 supporting the spool 30 together with the sliding cylinder 15.
