Abstract:

To elongate bearing life and achieve an improvement of a rolling mill effectively by mounting a sleeve wherein an outer diameter is tightly fitted with a bearing inside wheel inner diameter and an inner diameter is clearance fitted with an axial journal of an inner wheel of a roller bearing.

An outward double raw conic roller bearing 10 is used and a sleeve 20 is mounted to an inside wheel 12. The sleeve 20 is composed in a way that an outer diameter is highly fitted with an inner diameter of the bearing inside wheel 12, and an inner diameter of the sleeve 20 is clearance fitted with an axial journal 25. On the sleeve 20, a flange 21 is installed at both ends for clamping a side end of the bearing so as to constrain a movement of the inside wheel 12 in a shaft direction. Also, at both ends of the sleeve 20 in a shaft direction, thrust receiving parts 23, 24 are mounted to support a thrust imbalance load and, a fitting of the inside wheel 12 and the sleeve 20 is made to be a tight fitting having a clamping margin. Furthermore, the both ends flanges of the sleeve are made to be a clampable construction so that the thrust load can be surely supported.
