Abstract:
To provide a roll paper feeding device that prevents trouble such as printing failure or carriage abnormal conditions, by promptly detecting a direction of roll paper set inside a storage part in time of load work of the roll paper.
The device includes: a first separator 41 guiding a roll paper tip part P1 to a first carrying path 23 on this side of a normal rotation direction T to a separation roller 22; and a second separator 42 for guiding the roll paper tip part P1 to a second carrying path 24 on this side of a reverse rotation side F.
