PURPOSE: To realize a roll paper support mechanism always generating a back tension of a fixed value or more on a roll paper transport force and having a low ratio of a back tension change to a roll paper residual amount change to stabilize the performance of a roll paper curl removal mechanism provided in an OA equipment.

CONSTITUTION: A title mechanism consists of short-length spools 2, 2 each inserted to a core 10 of roll paper 1 from each end thereof for supporting the roll paper; torque limiters 3, 3 each disposed between the spool and a roll paper containing box and fixed to the spool; and the roll paper containing box 5 integrally provided with a pair of grooves 35, 35, to which non-rotating parts 32, 32 of the torque limiters are inserted for preventing the non-rotating parts from idly rotating. The idling torque of the torque limiters generates a back tension.
