Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer comprising a roll sheet feeding mechanism capable of preventing relative rotation of a support shaft and a roll sheet supported by the support shaft.SOLUTION: A roll sheet feeding mechanism of a printer includes: a support shaft 12 inserted into a paper tube 4 of a roll sheet 2; a first flange 13 being fixed to the support shaft 12 and facing a first side surface of the roll sheet 2 supported by the support shaft; a second flange 14 being support in a movable manner along an axis L of the support shaft 12, facing a second side surface of the roll sheet 2, and disposed at a contact position; a fixing mechanism 15 fixing the second flange 14 to the contact position; and a shaft drive mechanism rotating the support shaft 12. The first flange 13 comprises a protrusion 46 protruding toward a side of the second flange 14 at a position where it can face an annular end surface 4a of the paper tube 4 of the roll sheet 2 supported by the support shaft 12. When the first flange 13 and the second flange 14 are brought into contact with the roll sheet 2, the protrusion 46 is brought into contact with the paper tube 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
