PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of paper jams and wrong operation of a paper cutter by not accepting the second and after second inputs to an instantaneous cutting command inputting means when the input to the means is continuously made two or more times.
CONSTITUTION: An emergency cut key 77 is turned on by truing up the leading edge of roll sheet 3 by cutting. When an emergency cut flag becomes '1' from '0' as a result of the turning on of the key 77, a main motor in a roll sheet feeding unit 5 is actuated and the motor is rotated in a prescribed direction at a prescribed speed. When the motor is rotated, the clutch of a sheet feeding roller pair 43 is turned on and, as a result, the roller pair 43 is rotated in a prescribed direction and the roll sheet 3 is fed to a discharge port 40. It is contrived that, even when the input to the key 77 is continuously made two or more times, the second and after second inputs are not accepted. Therefore, strip-like paper pieces are not produced and the occurrence of a paper jam and wrong operation of a paper cutter caused by the paper jam can be prevented surely.
