Title:
ROLL STAND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP06210309
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to impress a large load on a roll stand to which a roll driving torque is transmitted via spur gears and to regulate the position in the radial direction of rolls without changing the intermeshing depth of drive bevel gears.

CONSTITUTION: This roll stand includes the three rolls 2, 3 and 4 to be driven which are arranged on the same plane, form one caliber, are regulatable in positions in a radial direction and have the roll shafts rotatably supported in eccentric bushings in a roll casing 2. The roll stand is provided with the spur gears 19, 18 and 20 on the respective roll shafts 5, 6 and 7. These spur gears are intermeshed with the spur gears on the drive shafts arranged in the casing 1 in parallel with the respective roll shafts 5, 6 and 7. All the drive shafts are arranged in the second plane parallel to the first plane provided with the roll shafts. All the drive shafts are transmissibly connected to each other via the bevel gears intermeshed with each other.
