Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll support stand which reduces a load of a worker when the worker rotates a raw fabric roll to feed a continuous sheet.SOLUTION: In a roll support stand, assist means, which assists rotation of a fabric roll 1 when a worker rotates the fabric roll 1, is provided. A first placement body 8 includes a pair of first rollers 11, 11 for supporting one end of a roll shaft 4. A second placement body 9 includes a pair of second rollers 14, 14 for supporting the other end of the roll shaft 4. The assist means includes: an assist motor 16 for generating assist torque; a pair of transmission gears 19, 19 attached to rotary shafts 12 of the pair of first rollers 11, 11; and an output gear 18 which is attached to an output shaft 17 of the assist motor 16 and meshes with the pair of transmission gears 19, 19; rotation detecting means which detects rotation of the roll shaft 4; and a control part 22 which controls driving of the assist motor 16 on the basis of a detection signal from the rotation detecting means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
