Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a roll surface cutting device capable of simply cutting a roll in the width direction not manually.
CONSTITUTION: A roll R wound with a sheet such as an aluminum foil, a copper foil, a resin film, or paper on a core tube is held by a roll holding mechanism 2, and a cutting edge 4 is set to the biting state on the side face of the roll R in this roll surface cutting device 1. When the cutting edge 4 is moved in the width direction of the roll R by a feed driving mechanism, the cutting edge 4 cuts the roll R open in the width direction. The opened surface of the roll R is peeled off.
