To provide a rotary press which at least one printing machine sub-system, as opposed to the other one or respective printing machine subsystems, can print different numbers of printing pages on the printing material web in this subsystem.
The invention relates to the rolled sheet rotary press, specifically referring to the newspaper printing machine, which comprises at least two printing machine subsystem 11, 12. Each printing machine subsystem has a printing unit with a plurality of printing device, a web guide unit to convey non-printed and printed printing material web and a turn-bar unit with a plurality of turn bar. The printing machine subsystems 11, 12 guides the printed printing material web through at least one common chip box unit 16. Therefore, the rotary press is so formed to be different from the conventional rotary press in that at least one printing machine subsystem 11, as opposed to the other one or respective printing machine subsystem (12), can print, in each printing machine subsystem 11, 12, different number of printing pages on the printing material web.
