Abstract:

To physically detect the state of inclined tables and to detect the rotational state of the guide rollers of the inclined tables.

In a rolled stock joining device 10 which is provided with a truck which runs on the rolling line, inlet-side inclined table 32 for guiding the rolled stocks 1, 2 which run on the rolling line to a press-contacting device on the truck and outlet-side inclined table 30 for guiding the rolled stocks 1, 2 on the press-contacting device onto the rolling line and which is composed so that the inlet-side inclined table 32 and outlet-side inclined table 30 are turned between a 1st state where the tables are connected to the truck at their one ends with a pin, turned around this pin and connected to the rolling line at the other ends and the 2nd state where the tables are upward turned at a prescribed angle from the rolling line, position detecting sensors 101a, 101b for detecting the 1st state and 2nd state are provided and the abnormality of the set state of both inclined tables 30, 32 is detected.
