Abstract:
To provide a roller bearing in which a large frictional resistance caused at the contact part between the end surfaces of rollers and a cage is suppressed.
This roller bearing comprises an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2 having a rolling element raceway surface 2a opposed to a rolling element raceway surface 1a formed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring 1, the rollers 3 installed between the rolling element raceway surface 1a of the inner ring 1 and the rolling element raceway surface 2a of the outer ring 2, and the cage 4 for holding the rollers 3. The roller bearing further comprises spherical projections 7, 8 supporting the two end surfaces 3a, 3b of each of the rollers at the center part.
