Abstract:
To provide a roller for a belt conveyor allowing easy recognition of failure of non-rotation of the roller for the belt conveyor so as to prevent an accident from occurring.SOLUTION: In a roller A for a belt conveyor, an electromagnet 6 for power generation is supported by a cylindrical holding metal fitting 5 rotating together with bearings 4 in a freely rotating cylindrical body 3 at both ends of a center shaft 1 supported in a non-rotating state, a permanent magnet 7 for power generation is provided in a cover 8 provided at an outer periphery of the center shaft 1 in the cylindrical body 3, a light 9 is provided at a surface peripheral edge of one end plate of the cylindrical body 3, and a lead wire 11 for receiving power supply generated by the electromagnet 6 and the permanent magnet 7 accompanying the rotation of the cylindrical body 3 is connected to the light 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
