Abstract:
PURPOSE:In a roller chain driving device used in a device for automatically opening and closing a garage door by a remote control operation, to unnecessitate adjustment of the roller chain thereby to facilitate the connection between the door and trolley and also facilitate the assembly thereof. CONSTITUTION:By driving a motor 33, torque is transmitted through a pulley 32, a sprocket 31 and a chain 24. The chain 24 is slided within rails 25 thereby to open a garage door 30 through a trolley 26 and a link 29. In such an arrangement, the trolley 26 is constituted by a plate 41 sliding along grooves 39a and 39b of rails 25 and a connecting member 42 connected with the chain 24 in engagement therewith, and the connecting member 42 receives the force of a torsion spring 48 engaged with the plate 41 at a pin 45 and is activated upward, and further a string 14 is pulled down and a sliding plate 44 is slided downward whereby the engagement thereof with the chain is released.
