PURPOSE: To provide a roller device for supporting a pontoon which is constituted to prevent transmit vibration to a quay and the generation of loud noise owing to collision of the roller of the roller device, having stays of an H-steel for supporting the pontoon built along a quay, with the stays owing to waves.

CONSTITUTION: In a roller device having a base plate through which a pontoon is supported to a stay 60, a bearing member 38 to support the main shaft 36 of the main roller 30 of rollers 18 and 26 and a main roller 30, which are capable of making contact with the stay 60, is regulatably attached to a base plate through a resilient body 34 by means of a nut joined in a screwed-in state with a stub belt. When the roller device is inserted in the stay 60, the resilient body 34 is compressed by fastening the nut to prevent the occurrence of a contact between the main roller 30 and the flange 62 of the stay 60. After the roller device is attached to the pontoon, the nut is unfastened and the main roller 30 is brought into contact with the flange 62 of the stay 60 of the main roller 30.
