Abstract:
To improve the durability of bearings by supplying them with lubricating oil in an oil sump chamber positively.
A roller 17 rotatably mounted on the exterior of a support shaft 15 via sliding bearings 18 has oil control fins 22 located at each axial or lateral end in an oil sump chamber 19 to agitate lubricating oil 20. When the roller 17 is rotated, the oil control fins 22 agitate the lubricating oil 20 in the oil sump chamber 19 to feed it to the sliding bearings 18 and seal members 21, so that the roller 17 is rotated smoothly and the seal members 21 are improved in sealing performance, all leading to improved durability of the sliding bearings 18 and seal members 21.
