To provide a roller drive device capable of preventing a roller from rotating irregularly due to the variability of a fluid supplied to a printing matrix, a damping device and an inking device.
The roller derive device (100) has drive rolls (22 and 406) and non-drive rolls (23, 123 and 410) and transfers the fluid between the drive rolls (22 and 406) and the non-drive rollers (23, 123 and 410). In addition, the roller drive device (100) is equipped with drive rings (26 and 412) installed so as to inhibit the transfer of the fluid from the fluid supply surfaces (22b and 406b) of the drive rolls (22 and 406) and non-drive rings (27 and 414) so as to inhibit the transfer of the fluid from fluid supply surfaces (23b and 410b) of the non-drive rollers (23, 123 and 410). The drive rings (26 and 412) and the non-drive rings (27 and 414) are frictionally brought into contact with each other.
