Abstract:
To reduce or avoid damage caused by electric contacts and leaf spring contacts.SOLUTION: A roller electric contact 100 comprises a roller 102. The roller comprising a shaft 106, and multiple conductive discs 108 electrically separated by an insulating material. The shaft 106 extends through a rotational axis of the roller. A housing 104 comprises slots 124 in which the shaft of the roller is positioned, the slots being configured to direct a non-rotational movement of the roller. Multiple leaf springs 112 are disposed in the housing. The leaf springs comprise an electrically conductive material. The multiple conductive discs are spaced on the roller so that at least one of the conductive discs contacts each of the multiple leaf springs. Multiple conductive wires extend from the roller electric contact, each of the multiple conductive wires making an electrical contact with one of the leaf springs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
