Abstract:
To provide a die for obtaining an elastic body with good shaping precision without requiring cooling and without using a mold releasing agent when the elastic body is taken out of the die after termination of hardening in the die formation of thermosetting elastic resin.
The roller forming die used for manufacturing a middle elastic roller by forming an elastic layer on a shaft core body when manufacturing the developing roller composed of the shaft core body, the elastic layer and a surface layer has an interior wall surface which is a nitride layer and whose surface roughness Ra (arithmetic average roughness) is ≥0.1μm and ≤0.7μm.
